OUR STORY

On June 10, 2021, Youth G began as a chapter of the youth arm of a party-list group in the Philippines. However, due to internal issues within that party, the entire chapter was forced to cease operations.Instead of stopping their service to the community, the members of that chapter chose to establish a new organization, one that is more genuine, more open, and more free. From this decision, Youth G was born.Founded by Ria Cortez and Dom Negrite, together with fellow youth leaders from Iriga City, Camarines Sur, Youth G was created as a true grassroots youth organization with the mission of amplifying the voices and capabilities of young people. The name Youth G is inspired by the familiar Filipino youth expression “G!” a term that means “Game! Go! Let’s do it!” It symbolizes the readiness, courage, and openness to challenges that embody the true spirit of the Filipino youth. In 2022, Youth G was officially registered under the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) of the National Youth Commission (NYC). However, like many youth groups, it was affected by the return of face-to-face classes. Founding members resumed their academic pursuits, with some relocating to other cities in Bicol, others to Metro Manila, or even abroad. But now in 2025, Youth G returns stronger, with a clearer purpose, and more determined than ever.Youth G’s Renewed Mission for 2025:
To establish a sustainable volunteer system for Filipino youth, one that is not dependent on any political group, but rooted in the genuine commitment of young people to serve their communities.

Go!
